Collections: A few problems

Hi all,

I have three problems that I just can't figure out regarding collections in MB-C.

  1. How can I delete a collection? I created one as a test and would like to get rid of it; that doesn't appear to be possible! On that test collection, there's a lock icon beside three image icons (one red, one orange, one grey-white). What do these icons represent and what is the purpose of the lock icon?
  2. How can I browse for content into a new collection? I have created a collection called Animated. I have about 30 different animated titles on my system but have no way to identify each one. The only option I seem to have is to search for it by name, which does me no good whatsoever. I need to be able to browse.
  3. Finally, is there any way to tell MB-C to do an "advanced refresh" search for every title in my library, filling in every single metadata field for which data is available, and grabbing every indexed graphic?

BATTLE DONKEY

1. Go into the web dashboard, under users select ur user name and give it permission to delete, the red grey and orange icons represent metadata that u are missing I.e. primary images, backdrops etc.

2. Not sure, but I think the only way for now is by searching for a title

3. Go into the web dashboard then under metadata manager u can select any top level folder I.e. movies, TV shows, etc. Then click edit, then refresh. That will refresh the data for all media in that folder. Make sure u have locked any metadata u have customised so it doesn't get overwritten

All questions are related to general configuration and operation on the server - not any particular client.  So I went ahead and moved the topic over here to the server forum so it can get the right eyes on it and people can find it later.
