Hi,

Struck an odd problem this morning, it seems like MBC can no longer connect to MB3 Server, all I get is a message that MB3 is not responding and that I will be returned to WMC.

Nothing has changed on the server since last night, other than I was listening to some radio via the web client and the tunein plugin this morning. The server and all other clients seem fine.

Have tried restarting the server, restarting the whole server PC, nothing seems to help?

Pretty much at my wits end with this one, nothing I have tried will make it start, and bizarrely I watched 2 movies just fine last night, I just cant see a reason it will not start so thinking maybe I should just uninstall and reinstall at this point.

Heres the server log as well.

Ok so a complete uninstall/reinstall did not fix this either? Perhaps I should have posted this in the server forum???

Have a workaround in place now, downloaded Theatre and it is working fine. Will check back tomorrow for any advice on how I can maybe get Classic to start again.

Did you just install the Tune-in plug-in?  What happens if you either uninstall it or de-select it in the library access for the user using MBC?

I decided this had to be a WMC problem, as I was getting some errors for the extensibility host service after MBC not starting. I removed WMC and re-added it, then removed and deleted all MBC folders for a clean install, and voila, were back! :-)

Sigh, worked for a few hours, now back to same problem again. After trying to connect for a few minutes, the windows extensibility service errors out.

Looking like it may be time for a fresh reload of windows I guess. :-(

I'm getting the same issue as well. MBT works fine, but I get the same issues with MBC

That worked for me - I uninstalled TuneIn and all is working again as it should!

Yep, I was going to suggest this, as I reinstalled MBC again this time unticking display collections and all seems fine.

Collections or Channels?

sorry I meant Channels, this is the solution for me as I don't use channels in MBC, but love them in the web client.
