bnairb 6
Would like to be able to use the playlists I built in Windows media player. Since my files and playlists are on an external share, I can see using the same playlist file in both Media Browser Theater and still Windows media player. I sync ipod to WMP to attain the same song's and playlists.
ebr 14903
This would actually be a server feature. I'll move this post over there since I don't think this specific FR exists yet.
LiquidFX 135
A playlist feature would be nice
trooper11 63
I would also love to see playlist support added to the server. Honestly, msuci is the last thing that I have not migrated to MB3 because of this. I currently run the Serviio server app which can take my existing playlists and make them available on any dlna compatible device. My hope is that MB3 will add playlist support and I can finally have all my media running through the one server app.
mporcas 3
I'd also like to see playlists implements as I've got quiet a few kids shows saved for my daughter and I'd really like to auto-advance from one episode to the next. Kids shows are only 10mins long and it's quite a ball-ache having to skip to next episode and hitting play! (So much so that they're all setup as playlists in WMP and shown from there at the mo!!) Thanks guys, awesome job otherwise!
pagali 62
I would also like to see smart playlist capability in MB3! That's one thing I really miss from XBMC. mporcas: Have you ever tried "Play all from here" from the context menu? Works great for me. I let Big Bang Theory episodes run while I'm working at home...nice background noise.
trooper11 63
I know this is about music playlists, but I would also like to see a video playlist feature. We play a lot of music videos and it would be nice to be able to que up several like we would for music.

You can also "Play from here" in most lists of items in MBC.
thoror 6
If playlist is not going to be implemented soon, would it be possible to include an option to repeat one song, or repeat the current queue? Thanks!!
rickster53 27
+1 This is a missing feature that MB2 supported (music playlists). Would really like to see it added to the server... Edited November 18, 2013 by rickster53
steve1977 67
Fully agree, this would indeed be an amzing function. Probably difficult (impossible?) to sync with itunes playlists? If so, even MBS own smart playlists (both for movies and music) would be fantastic!!! Maybe this could be done over a (paid) plugin to also put something back for the efforts. I can imagine this would be a highly sought after feature for the MBS.
bennymac 47
+1 for playlists
JDizzy 21
+1 for playlists too! I also have not been using MBT as much as I would for this reason. I actually listen to music 70/30 compared to watching video. Just que up a playlist and walk away.

rickster53 27
MB3 keeps getting better and better! Nice to see that music playlists seems to be moving up on the to-do list. For me, it's probably the only thing I really miss from my MB2 days that MB3 doesn't already do... Edited January 14, 2014 by rickster53
Aussiedroid 56
Please ensure there is support for WinAMP playlists pretty please Also will it be possible to create music and video playlists from within MBC/MBT/MBS in the future?
twitchstick 6
I'm so looking forward to music playlist. Probably a huge feature thats missing that will make MB3 perfect for everything.
hinsdale1 1
Add one more for video playlist support.. really needed for music videos The play all items (random, unwatched) option is great but takes 30 seconds to load up with a folder of 130 music videos (on NAS)... Or as a solution perhaps when creating a playlist using this feature the list/load could be preserved for future so that the next time loaded you don't have to wait again? bxsteez 3
I noticed playlists were added which is awesome! Is there anyway to randomize the playlist?
ebr 14903
That is handled by each client. Most of them have the ability to "Shuffle" play them.
saitoh183 137
If you add 2 complete season of 2 different TV shows, will you just get big episode list or will they still show up under each TV show banner/poste? Not sure if my wording that is clear...hope so
ebr 14903
I'm not positive but I don't think there is any grouping or organization within a playlist.

Ok thanks, you think this will come in the future because its kind of messy when there is alot of content in the playlist
