The file demonstrated in this video is a 1080p blu ray rip with 6 channel DTS MA, file size was around 25-30GB. Swynol 375 Posted August 25, 2014 Author Share Posted August 25, 2014 no not using the Dev Preview. so must be the old one. still works perfectly well but it would be nicer if it didnt have to transcode and played all file types locally. although i dont really use my xbox for media browser as i have loads of other devices i use. the video was just to demonstrate that it does work and how easy it is to get it to work. Swynol 375 Posted August 25, 2014 Author Share Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) no i'm using the old xbox video player. the one that came with it on release. i havent downloaded the new one yet or the preview one. to get Media Browser to work i didnt have to do anything on the xbox, Media Browser Server see's the Xbox as a DLNA device when its on, and then i can choose my media from any of the iOS apps android app or web client to stream it to the xbox Edited August 25, 2014 by Crazypete00 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
