This video shows Media Browser 3 web client on the left screen streaming to my Xbox One on the right hand screen. The file demonstrated in this video is a 1080p blu ray rip with 6 channel DTS MA, file size was around 25-30GB. The streaming was over a 1Gbps wired network.

I'm not really sure, there was an update yesterday but i dont think the media player has been released yet. In this video i think its just transcoding the video to the old xbox video player.

Are you using the developer preview on the Xbox? That would be the only way to get it. I'm interested to see if it makes an improvement. They are adding the ability to browse a DLNA server, which I'm looking forward to.

no not using the Dev Preview. so must be the old one. still works perfectly well but it would be nicer if it didnt have to transcode and played all file types locally.

although i dont really use my xbox for media browser as i have loads of other devices i use. the video was just to demonstrate that it does work and how easy it is to get it to work.

no i'm using the old xbox video player. the one that came with it on release. i havent downloaded the new one yet or the preview one.

to get Media Browser to work i didnt have to do anything on the xbox, Media Browser Server see's the Xbox as a DLNA device when its on, and then i can choose my media from any of the iOS apps android app or web client to stream it to the xbox

the blu ray player supports DTS-HD well it bitstreams it to my AVR to decode it. so i cant see why they wouldnt support it

I wonder if the new player will allow for DTS-HD, no transcoding, etc...
